Every semester, Predental students organize a trip to an orphanage in Tecate, Mexico. The students give an oral presentation to the children in Spanish, set up fun, interactive learning activities, make lunch, and interact with them. The club also provides toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss for all of the children. Most of the children do not speak English, and some of our students do not speak Spanish, but we all find ways to bridge the communication gap and still fully interact and teach proper oral hygiene.
