Topics in Dentistry

While Preventive Dentistry is a “hands-on course,” Topics in Dentistry focuses on the abstract issues we are bound to encounter such as the AADSAS application process, personal statement revision, and discussion of ethical issues within dental medicine. Also, a variety of guest speakers allow students more insight on all aspects of dentistry. This spring semester course is offered to help soothe students’ anxiety about applying in May and to also give them the knowledge and confidence to apply. Students learn what it takes to enter and excel in dental school from dental school presentations and from SDSU alumni currently in dental school. Topics in Dentistry is a great opportunity for all SDSU predental students preparing for a career in dentistry! For more information about the Topics in Dentistry class please visit the Preprofessional Health Advising Office at SDSU or click here to visit their website.
